Presentation
Mass spectrometry is an extremely sensitive chemical analysis technique used to detect and identify molecules by measuring their mass. Its principle lies in the gas phase separation of charged molecules (ions) according to their mass/charge ratio.
CESAMO’s mass spectrometry facility has the specificity of being suitable for all types of organic molecules : polar or non-polar, small or large molecules. In addition, the instruments currently available make it possible to perform high-resolution analyzes and thus access the exact mass for molecules less than 1000 Da, whether they are pure molecules or in mixture.
High Resolution (calculation of molecular formula) on pure products or mixture and on polar or non-polar molecules.
Structural analysis in MS/MS mode.
Analysis of polymers, dendrimers, etc.: determination of endgroups, monomer units.
Qualitative and quantitative analysis of pure or mixed products using different coupling techniques.
For any request, it is necessary to complete an analysis sheet.
